The Three Castilieros are here one year after the debut of Power Rangers 2017 to see if the film holds up a year later after the hype. But first, we discuss how Banjo plays himself offstage and Sento boings his way onto stage debuting RabbitRabbit Form, and on Lupinranger... er, Patranger, er... Sentai, Keiichiro steps up to make up for getting shitstomped last week.
The FourCasters remain united once again as Precurary pushes forward. First off, instead of Build episode 22, we snuck in the Best Matches special since that is not only canon but happens before episode 22. Next, we discuss the debut of what will no doubt eventually divide Castranger into Civil War - Lupinranger VS Patranger! Who's on which side? Finally, for week 3 of Precurary, it's time for us to discuss Precure's take on a teamup movie as a little girl struggles to tame her Digimon.
Required Viewing: Kamen Rider Build: Raising the Hazard Level ~7 Best Matches~ 1, Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger 1, Pretty Cure All Stars New Stage: Mirai no Tomodachi
Our good friend Blaze and our new friend Thespian join the Core Four for another week of laughing at people in spandex and armor. Ichi gushes over the debut of the Hazard Smashes, Don Armage finds a realy good jacket, and rounding out JanKyuary, we talk about Episode of Singer. You heard me.
Red, Dream, and the newly debuted Indigo Caster stop in for half of this week's episode as we wrap up both Dekacember III and Castranger for 2017. We discuss the debut of RabbitTankSparkling in an amazing dramatic episode of Build, meanwhile Kyuranger this week, while not filler, is oddly devoid of anything really happening aside from *gasp* Lucky's dad is back and evil again! Finally, we discuss Gavan VS Dekaranger, aka Geki Angrily Yanks Jasmine Across The Galaxy While Mad Gallant Is Awesome, The Movie.
PLEASE NOTE: Radio Sentai Castranger will be taking a two-week break!! Our next regular episodes will be January 7/8! Thank you all for another amazing year!!
The Three Little Casters begrudgingly uphold the second week of Dekacember III. First off, we discuss the debut of Build OctopusLight Form as we finally shed light on the confirmation of what we knew all along: Blood Stark's identity. Does Blue Caster have some 'splaining to do? In stark contrast, we have the Kyurangers... playing baseball?! At least it's not soccer. Finally, our feature topic of the week is the all-girls reboot of Death Game Park featuring Birdgirl.
Ichi, Lane, Overkill, and Blaze remain something resembling assembled this week, as Yellow, Dream, and Red Casters are off exploring their own plot threads. This week we discuss the debut of Kamen Rider Clothes, How Commander Shou Got His Groove Back (Again), and for a change of pace, the Kamen Rider Mach audio drama, wherein the fandom's shipping is literally confirmed.
The core Casters are (mostly) back! We discuss Blood Stark's descent into Phantom Thiefhood and the amazing Build KeyDragon Form, Lucky's ascent into full-on Gary Stu-ness, and the completion of the circuit of Taiga's character arc with episode 3 of the Snipe prequel specials.
Four Core Casters remain somewhat assembled to talk about How Gentoku Met Katsuragi's Mother, the debut of FireHedgehog Form, how Sento logic leaps over the moon to solve a riddle, how Hame channels Deneb to save MagiYellow In Space, and for our Halloween feature topic, the scariest thing ever: not one, but TWO Power Rangers clip shows! :O
Four out of Five Casters unite to discuss the debut of RocketPanda, the begin of the chase for Katsuragi Takumi, and the first henshin of Night Rogue. Over on Kyuranger, we talk about the, uh, debut of Yagyuu Juubei, the totally not Friend Champ superhero of justice. Finally, our very October-themed review of 1965's Gamera: The Giant Monster, aka How To Jettison Your Pettison.
The full Core Five are in the studio, joined by Spell Caster, aka Blaze, one of our active Discord fans. Lane swoops in to counterpoint Ichi's Build rantings from last week, we meet the bloody good fun game master Blood Stark, and laugh at Tatsuya getting the shit beat out of him by everybody. Secondly, we react to the Kyurangers fighting a twisted hodgepodge of Robotnik and Ivan Ooze. Finally, 100 episodes after discussing Hentai Kamen, we deal with the sequel. Is this movie's dick as hard as the first one?
