Ransack returns to us as Shadow Caster in place of Yellow and Green as we talk about Takaharu's girlfriend, Blue Buster's new groove, the Kamen Rider Drive finale, and our thoughts on Drive as a series.
The full six core Casters return to talk about Drive's penultimate episode, featuring gratuitous death, as well as Ninningers playing the feelsiest game of Mario Party ever, and finally discussing the first two episodes of Madan Senki Ryukendo, a tokusatsu series produced by Takara, the same company that made Beyblade.
Red, Blue, Pink, and North Casters arrive to celebrate a death-filled evening! First off, the Chase prophecy that Ichi spoiled himself on weeks ago comes to pass and we discuss his amazing exit strategy. Meanwhile, Hayabusa shows up on Ninninger and some kids get kidnapped. Finally, an actual discussion topic this week, and what better to talk about than toku deaths?
We are joined by both our first Skype guest, Navy Caster Crunchman, and our newest guest, Yellow Caster AutoGar, as we talk about this week's Drive and how it overflows with both laughs and feels, the debut of Kamen Rider Jun. Meanwhile in Ninningerland, Kinji completes his story arc in every way possible. Finally we talk about how charming and wacky the first three episodes of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger are... or should we say, the Ninninger prequel?
WE DID IT! For Episode Yes (read: 69) of Castranger, we re-attempted the failed episode from so long ago! Yes - we reviewed Hentai Kamen, the super hero who fights evil with panties on his face! But first, Drive goes full soap opera with Chase's antics, then Ninninger manages to pull off a well-written clip show comprised of the most bullshit mid-race for Last Ninja results presentation of all time.
Hey! Guess what just got subbed? Super Hero Taisen GP! We drop all our plans to watch and review this highway collision of a film. But first, it's apparently soap opera week on tokusatsu, as Medic's secret past is revealed, Chase tries to speak his heart, and Igasaki Tsumuji pines over his daughter as she tries to become an actress under Dracula.
Green Caster steps out for this one as the remaining Casters come together to talk about Chase's budding interest in love, the reveal of Medic's human, and the debut of Gold Drive. Meanwhile in ninja town, this week's episode proves BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT FUUKA REALLY IS USELESS NINGER. Finally, we review the ToQger Returns movie! Or should we say, the return of Nijino Akira, ToQ-6gou!
The Castrangers, now freshly divorced from the news segment (See: Extra! Extra! Castranger) talk about the amazing plot-heavy Drive episode this week were we learn Banno and Heart's backstories. Meanwhile, Light Red Ninger trolls EEEEEVERYBODY. Finally, we celebrate Japan's National Handjob Day by watching the one episode of Tengaman, a toku hero who fights with (and against somehow) the power of masturbation! Come and listen!
We return from ConBravo for some catchup. Plenty of news about the rest of Drive and Surprise Future, then we talk about all the revealed forms and weaponry of Kamen Rider Ghost, a new Ninninger form hinted at, and a few toy announcements. These two weeks of Drive feature Chaser doing plenty of awesome shit and the adventures of Banno the Tablet. Meanwhile in Ninningerland, ninja baseball happens, and then Yakky and Kinji try to do things. GOOD LUCK!
At this point, we can pretty much call Saga our new core Caster. We reunite once again to talk about Drive's "cleanup duty" saga beginning with literally fire, explosions, tears, and angry belts. Meanwhile, the smartest youngster of all time gives Bakaharu a mental thrashing before we get introduced to Akaninger Chouzetsu. Finally, we watched and review Zordon of Eltar, the prequel film to Teenagers with Attitude that we talked about last week. Are we going to eat our words?
