There was no Saber or Kiramager this week, so we fill the gaps with a few different things. First off, the Gridon VS Bravo specials were just put out, so we cover the entertaining yet inconsistency-riddled two-part special. Was it worth the effort? Secondly, we sit through two more episodes of the Zero-One anime which turn out to be more entertaining than we were expecting. Finally, the first two episodes of GoGoV, riddled with weird rescue robots and daddy issues.
Four chosen Castrangers assemble this week to discuss the debut of Kamen Rider Buster, or should we say, Busted, wow! Can a character this powerful really be a mainstay in the show? Our brains swirl with theories and possibilities as we discuss the compelling storyline unfolding. The Kiramagers form a band and jam out for justice. Do their tones strike our ears with favor? Finally, we begin discussing Project Thouser, aka how it really was Gai's fault all along.
It's the finale of Zero-One! But first, we discuss this week's Kiramager, where the curse on Babyface finally comes to a head. Time hijinx ensues. Oh boy. Next, we discuss the jarringly absurd Zero-One side anime specials. Then we come to the finale, and our thoughts overall on Kamen Rider Zero-One and its offerings. Did it live up to expectations?
Spice Force Five is here this week to discuss the penultimate episode of Zero-One as Aruto continues down his path of darkness, featuring the "debut" of Orthrus Vulcan and what we're referrign to as Ark-Horobi, Kiramager has a surprisingly adorable and wholesome filler episode, and finally we come to the sentai that started Power Rangers. Can Zyuranger really stand on its own legs enough to justify carrying the Mighty Morphin' legacy?
It's time to finish season 1 of After V, the sentai that makes you feel bad for the villains! But first, we discuss Aruto continuing his descent into the dark side, how Thouser finally gets some form of comeuppance, and the inevitable sentai body swap episode that manages to be creepy, annoying, and somewhat funny. Also, Paul's here!
What is this, Evil Form Week? Between Kamen Rider Ark-Zero and DarkKiramaSilver, this was an amazing week for tokusatsu! It's only too bad more of the Casters weren't here to discuss it. Ichi and Lane get into it with their conflicting feelings over the direction Zero-One is headed in as we approach endgame, then we marvel at the amazing but brief plotpoint of Takamichi being taken by darkness as we begin exploting the Dragonballs... I mean Kanaemastones. Finally, we revisit the sentai that fights together and drinks together, After V, as they deal with their attractive new Yellow Ranger.
Raven's here this week as we get into an anime well-loved by tokusatsu fans for its ability to cram every toku trope in existence into a single show. Join us as we discuss Masayoshi's humble local hero beginnings. But first, Aruto takes his company back in a move that totally isn't an underhanded scheme to endear Gai to the rest of the characters, and Takamichi plays whack a mole to unlock his battlezord?
It's a six-ranger show today as we have both Raven and Tom with us this week! First off, we discuss how the debut of Zero-Two goes from tragic, to flashback, to Butterfly Effect, to GENIUS writing. Next, Kiramager roasts us like marshmallows on an open fire with its amazing comedy this week, and finally, our feature topic is as much of VR Troopers as we can stand in one sitting. What's that? We only got through two episodes? Yeah, that sounds right.
Four Casters of Light are here this week to discuss the destruction of the Zero-One Driver, how Takamichi uses Instant Transmission to save his sister from a demonic game of Red Light Green Light, and how a bunch of high schoolers drove some cars in pursuit of saving the world from Chaos.
Lane's back! This week on Zero-One, Amatsu Gai is swiftly deconstructed and begins his... *sigh* redemption arc. And boy do the Castrangers have some dissenting opinions. Next, Takamichi learns to play nice with others, but at what cost? Finally, we get back to Power Rangers Beast Morphers, where the rangers discover their weaknesses and zords, then get environmental as they ride bikes powered by the Morphin Grid for some reason.
