Our friend and fan Blaze joins us this week for a spooky Halloween Castranger. First off, we discuss Saber living out his secret dream of being a sword wielded by a big robot. Can Saber possibly be headed back in the right direction? Secondly, the Kiramagers fight their Shadows while Jewel bullshits his way into saving Oladdin and letting him live his secret dream of being a bird zord. Finally, we discuss not Skullman, but the Ryusoulger VS Lupinranger VS Patranger movie. It's great to see our ol' cops n robbers again, but how painful is it for us to see the Ryusouglers again?
Between Kamen Rider Vulcan Punching Kong and Kishiryuoh Pachygaroo, we got two punchyboys this week. Also up for discussion this week is Zero-One Flying Falcon, the rapid yet consistent and thorough storytelling Zero-One has maintained, and how Ryusoulger somehow maintained an OK episode two weeks in a row, despite the miss of giving Melt a superform that doesn't suit him at all. Finally, our feature topic this week is the sentai clusterfuck threeway crossover movie. Can cramming all those rangers into one movie really churn out greatness?
The Core Four are here to celebrate the end of Lupinranger VS Patranger! But first, Zi-O taps into his dark side by putting clock hands immediately over his eyes and everyone admit's they're an asshole inside. Then we discuss the beautiful and poignant finale of Lupin VS Pato, but as one member will flatly detail, it wasn't perfect? Then, instead of a special episode or movie, we have a discussion on our thoughts on the series as a whole.
Four Little Casters + the newly super-formed Blaze assemble. Gar actually watched Zi-O this week? Because it's got Ryuki in it. Sorta. But who cares because Mirror Zi-O! Next, we discuss the Lupinrangers fighting Freezo-Amigo, then not fighting him, then fighting him again for the first time for the LAST TIME! Finally, we discuss the Lupin Pato UNE FEELMU, aka a slightly longer episode featuring some funny moments and an AWESOME new megazord.
Required Viewing: Kamen Rider Zi-O 21, Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger 50, Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger En Film
Gar's off on a side special adventure so it's up to Three Little Casters to bring you their thoughts on the denouement of Kamen Rider Quiz's confusing plot arc while Zi-O and Geiz manage to impress us a little bit with their combat this week. Next, we discuss the emotional climax of Lupinranger VS Patranger as we head towards the finale, and for our feature topic, we're finally tackling the Kamen Rider Build summer movie! Does it live up to the hype of how good Build's show was?!
The legendary Red Caster joins us this week as we celebrate Shotaro Ishinomori's birthday by discussing the movie/documentary about his life and career, and what an amazing, inspiring, and also sorrowful journey it was! But first, we discuss the debut of Kamen Rider Not Red Buster and his quest to annoy everyone with bullshit questions, and the amazingly well done final reveal of the Lupinrangers' identities.
The Core Four are here once more! We discuss the many nicknames of the two Wozes, his new form Futurering Shinobi, his stupid yet complicated objective, and how it just adds further layers of confusion to this already bullshit story. Meanwhile, the Lupins and Patos are approaching endgame as Freezo-Amigo obtains a cheat code, Gauche develops a fetish, Sakuya gets further than ever before, and Noel commits a noble sacrifice. Finally, for our first feature topic of 2019, it's How Gentoku Got His Groove Back. Again!
IWAE! Our first Castranger of 2019 and all four Cores are in store to discuss lore, with this catch-up Double Episode Special! First off, Zi-O and Geiz play Musical Belts, and Sougo catches Geiz's indecisive wishy-washyness when he gives up his belt then takes it back and apparently fucks up all time beyond recognition, resulting in the debut of our new boy, Kamen Rider Woz, who's here to kickass and write fanfics! We also celebrate the finale of the Hokan Keikaku! Translator's note: Keikaku means plan. ALSO in Lupinranger Vs Patranger, while everyone else is out dealing with goddamn chicken-hating salmon monsters, repeated abrupt train trips to France and back, and quiz dimensions, Keiichiro finally does the thing!! It's about goddamn time!!
Gar makes it home for Christmas as we bring you the last episode of 2018! We discuss just how god-awful of a character Geiz is, how awesome Kasshin is, and how Decade fucks shit up for everybody. Meanwhile, the Patos have a very meaningful but sad episode as we start to get the truth behind the show unveiled. It turned out France IS evil...? Finally, our feature topic is something heartwarming from all our childhoods: Alpha's Magical Christmas! Surely it isn't a twisted tale about a robot kidnapping children and forcing them to pump out manufactured holiday cheer?
The Core Four are here once more! Ichi shrieks his sick throat out trying to make sense of what Woz is up to, the actors realize what we did ages ago about Ghost, the red Rangers actually have a touching moment while Destra goes down like a champ, and finally we get to talk about the Go-Ongers 10 Years GP movie!
