Finally, Castranger has their first theme month! It's Dekacember!!
This week we share our thoughts on the interesting backstory from the Ghost crew, Yakky develops a lolicon, and hot on the heels of Shin Kamen Rider, we watched and review Kamen Rider ZO. Is it better? Worse? Find out!
This week, Ghost gets silent then musical, Ninninger plays Dragon Quest, and we watch the... "masterpiece" that is Shin Kamen Rider. Watch us go from zero to shrieking in horror!
Sorry this was so late!
With Red Caster joining Shadow Caster in Detroit for Youmacon, the remaining Casters band together to celebrate Halloween. First off, we talk about Ghost learning to use his powers in crazy ways, then in Ninjaland, our thoughts on Nagi and Kinji's character development. Finally, we watch Halloween episodes of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and Power Rangers Zeo, both great in their own way.
Once again, sorry for the late posting. We join our heroes this week as they recap a stupidly predictable yet still enjoyable third episode of Kamen Rider Ghost featuring wacky Onari antics and Robin Hood Damashii. And what's this? A Specter on the horizon? Meanwhile the Ninningers (right after cameoing with a face familiar to Power Rangers) clash with another ninja hero. The Showa Metal Hero, Global Ninja Jiraiya. What are our thoughts on this Kung Fu Kid wannabe of an episode? Finally, anyone who has watched Faiz certainly boarded the feelstrain watching Kamen Rider Yongo. Come hear Ichi's Kaidoutears! All this and more while accompanied by our first guest in some time, Orange Caster Noble!
Red, Pink, and Yellow Casters unite to talk about this week's episodes. Ghost does more things and gets his second icon pretty goddamn fast. Meanwhile Ninninger apparently sees fit to play out a Romeo and Juliet plot featuring a youkai that was somehow not voiced by Soi Fon from Bleach. Finally, the trio talk about which toku figures they'd like to have and/or see released.
Not only is it episode 75, but it's also the premiere of Kamen Rider Ghost! Red, Blue, Pink, Yellow, and North Casters assemble to talk about the Rider who died, and the megazord powered by fire and idiots. After that, we talk about what shows' first episodes are the most memorable. Finally, a new segment on Castranger: Episode Haikus!
Green and Yellow Casters return to the studio as we come to The Week of Inconsequential Bullshit™. Drive goes out for one last spin with its epilogue focusing on closing the case with Neo Shade, in order to springboard more Ghost hype. I guess losing the Rider War hit Tezuka hard? Meanwhile Ninninger manages to be the most interesting thing airing this week as this week's Izayoi ninja steals the Ninger's talents. Finally, we briefly touch on the awkward existence that is Type Tokujo Episode 2.
Ransack returns to us as Shadow Caster in place of Yellow and Green as we talk about Takaharu's girlfriend, Blue Buster's new groove, the Kamen Rider Drive finale, and our thoughts on Drive as a series.
