Blaze joins the core Four this week as we start getting to the goodstuff in this second week of Borgtober, our month of Big Bad Beetleborgs. But first, the line between 4 and 5 blends as we discuss this zombie-filled second half of Zi-O's Fourze/Faiz arc as well as why the two shows might be more related than we thought, and then Kogure illustrates how if we can't handle him at his worst, we don't deserve him at his best. Finally, for this week's Borgtober, we discuss the creation of the Shadowborg and the WHITE... Blaster Beetleborg!
The trademark for the next sentai has been named and we go crazy with ideas talking about it. But first! More info on Decade in Zi-O, images of sweet upcoming figures, more Zi-O forms, and *sigh* The Ryu Ranger does a thing.
Originally Recorded: Thursday October 11th, 2018.In this episode of Kaiju Sentai Ultraranger. Ultra-Yellow Caster AutoGar and Ultra-Pink Caster Lane Light Pink Rossa (Yes he’s calling himself that now) don’t really spend a whole lot of time on the news since its very brief this week. This leads to the Ultra-Casters to be talking about the double dose of Ultraman R/B and Part 1 of a two parter Ultraman X story.
The Core Four is here once again to start off another theme month: BORGTOBER, where we'll be talking about key episodes of that camp-ass 90s-ass toku show, Big Bad Beetleborgs, aka the Adventures of Flabber featuring some kids. But first, we discuss Zi-O reliving his high school days, complete with girls getting flung off the roof, monsters, and rocketing into space. You know, normal stuff. Then, we discuss this week's Lupinranger, aka Kairi pops his own brother with a gun in order to get a better gun. Wow, what a week!
REJOICE! The third Zi-O Rider is announced! More Zi-O scans about upcoming forms and weapons, and boy do they run the gambit from awesome to hilariously stupid. More Riders in the upcoming Cross-Z movie, spy shots, more RideWatches, more toys, and Korean Kyuranger merch?!
Originally Recorded: Thursday October 4th, 2018.On this exciting episode of Kaiju Sentai Ultraranger, Ultra-Yellow Caster AutoGar and Ultra-Pink Caster Lane join together once again to talk about the upcoming toy releases and the official reveal of Ultraman Ruebe!! The Ultra-Casters also discuss about the return of Ultraman Orb Dark an the 1st crossover for Ultraman X, which he teams up with old buddy Zero!!
Emily and Gar trickle in as we discuss this week's episodes. Zi-O proves that its timeline-swapping nonsense can get less stupid but still be stupid as Captain Hammerhands Deadpools his way to victory. We discover how the Toei scripting department handles the timeline changes, and it's kind of shitty. This week's sentai episode is about how the Lupins get turned into kids and Kairi seduces Tsukasa is a whole new way. Finally, we finish off Gashatember in style with the Genmu VS Lazer movie, where Ichi's favorite Rider suit ever lives. Is this a proper close to the Ex-Aid saga? Could Dan really have some humanity to him after all?
Ichi and Lane decide to read the news while waiting for the others. More upcoming Zi-O forms, *gasp* The Lazer RideWatch, more looks at LupinX's upcoming bullshit, and some upcoming Christmas goodies that come with holiday gimmicks. All this and more news!
Cel disassembles a street-stolen bookshelf in the background while the Casters regale you with the tales of this week's toku episodes. Sougo encounters the clearly Predator-inspired Another Rider Ex-Aid who "somehow" survives two years of existence and then challenges them to Mighty Action Z. In this Hokan Keikaku, the actors conspire against the staff, and it seems a little excessive, even to us! Finally, continuing the stupidly well-timed Gashatember, we discuss the second movie in the Another Ending Trilogy, aka "where the trilogy finally starts to get good," even though the movie is literally about a tamagotchi game.
We kidnap- er, INVITE Cel to join us for the first time in some time, as we go over a compativiely light news week. A shirtless villain, a returning cast member with suspenders, the NOT Hell Bro's movie, a Premium Bandai fake cell phone, and a Mad Mad figure are just some of our headlines this week.
