Radio Sentai Castranger [63] Critics With Attitude

This week on Castranger, North Caster maintains his position as we talk about the thrilling conclusion of the three-episode Nira saga of Drive, amazing cop drama that it's confirming itself to be; we discuss one of the most successful Youkai in Ninninger so far and the circumstances that lead a famous musician to fart in a Power Ranger's face, and finally, we review a fan film we discovered thanks to Orange Caster Noble. Teenagers with Attitude? More like Teenagers with Bad Scripts.

North Caster joins us again as Drive takes the wheel again, pulling off an impressively-written cop drama-style episode about chasing down Nira. Meanwhile, we reel as Yakumo pines over a monster for the stupidest of reasons, and then Kinji and "Bakaharu" compete in a fashion battle.

With the departure of Black Caster from the main cast, North Caster takes the chair as we talk about the departure of Starninger and the debut of Surfermaru. With no Drive episode this week, we watched a few episodes of the 1974 rider series, Kamen Rider X. And holy SHIT is it amazing. And not JUST because it features Starfish Hitler!

Radio Sentai Castranger [58] Shit on Ichi Day

After a week off for Anime North, Red, Blue, Pink, and North Casters return along with our first European guest, Grey! We talk about a plethora of tokusatsu news including the registered name of the next Rider, upcoming Drive forms and Ninninger mechs, and upcoming toy releases. We then get into our Double episode Special as Drive discovers and confronts 001, the Freeze Roidmude. Meanwhile, we discuss Gabi's defeat and the rise of Tsugomori Masakage on Ninninger.

Finally, we talk about the first round of Gaim Gaiden movies: Zangetsu, the serious drama and character portrait, and Baron, the reason for Kaito's actor to show any sort of emotion!

What? An episode without Blue Caster? And what's this? Green and Black are not around either? How will Red and Pink hold up this episode? By inviting Silver, North, and Navy Casters! This week we talk about Drive's amazing plan to get his henshin permission back, Gou's deception by his lady client, and the amazing proper debut of Starninger, Kinji Takigawa, and all his American troupes. As most of the cast was not here, we held off on discussing the Gaiden movies and instead talked about favorite support allies. 

 

BTW we apologize if the audio has occasional bits of reverb, this one took COPIOUS amounts of editing to get it to where it is.
